Dr. Jim Erpenbach utilizes only the most advanced technology and treatments at his state-of-the-art dental office in Knoxville, Tennessee. This, along with his dedication to excellence, provides his patients with the best results possible from their restorative and cosmetic dentistry.

Sometimes, a one or two-appointment procedure won’t give a patient the smile of their dreams, so Dr. Erpenbach has to provide a treatment option that achieves beautiful results and keeps the patient comfortable and looking their best throughout their several month-long treatment time.

This treatment is ClearCorrect. ClearCorrect is an innovative alternative to traditional braces. Instead of wires and brackets, clear acrylic aligners are created in a series, with each aligner gently shifting teeth closer to the ideal position. ClearCorrect aligners are removable, which allows you the freedom to remove them when you eat, clean your teeth, or for a special occasion.

After Dr. Erpenbach creates your treatment plan and a certified ClearCorrect lab fabricates your aligners, you will come in for an appointment where Dr. Erpenbach will explain how to wear your aligners to get the best results from your treatment. You will wear each aligner for about two weeks before moving on to the next one. Most patients wear between 18 and 30 aligners throughout the course of their treatment, making the total time in “braces” anywhere from 9 to 15 months.

Having a mouth full of metal just isn’t practical for most adults, and ClearCorrect is a great way to get the straight smile you have always wanted and keep your orthodontia a secret at the same time.If you look in the mirror and see gaps or crooked teeth, call Dr. Erpenbach’s dental office at 865-584-8630.
